Class Description - PiYo™ for Weight Loss

PiYo™ for Weight Loss is a faster paced class than Gentle Yoga. This class combines Vinyasa (flow-style) yoga, aerobic activities, and Pilates movements to burn calories, build CORE strength, and enhance agility and balance.  PiYo™ for Weight Loss is a substantially more challenging workout than Gentle Yoga for Weight Management.  The class ends with a long relaxation period that includes suggestions and affirmations to help students form beneficial new habits around food choices, exercise and a healthy lifestyle.  There are also weekly "homework" assignments that encourage students to "take their yoga off the mat".
